Mistake #1: Working out when you’re tired

Staying fit in this busy world can be a challenge. Many people though would still go through with their physical workout even though they are exhausted.

Working out tired isn’t really the problem here. It is rather the lack of focus. And when you are not focusing on when performing your exercise routine, it could potentially lead to injuries.

So, if you have not had any enough sleep, it is better to skip a workout. Trust me, you will only get more tired, which defeats the purpose of working out – and that is to feel good.

Mistake #2: Eating (or not) before a workout

Fasted cardio has been a trend these days – this is where as soon as you get up you exercise without eating anything just yet. Some research found that working on an empty stomach makes your body burn more fat.

However, science also says that there is no significant impact on one’s body to burn fat if they work out on a full stomach. Some gym-goers actually even prefer having a huge meal before performing an exercise.

So, what happens if you skip on warm-ups? You’re going to get injured. Not warming up before exercising can lead to muscle or soft tissue injury.
